The Pharmacy Show: Scholl and rbforhealth

The brief

Following on from the success of last year’s show, (which you can read all about here), RB once again asked us to create their stand for the Pharmacy Show, the most important healthcare trade show in the UK.

This time, we were asked to focus on Scholl, the No.1 footcare brand in pharmacy. We had to produce a stand and experience that encouraged healthcare professionals to approach and interact with Scholl’s products and brand’s knowledge in the sector.

They also wanted to have an area dedicated to rbforhealth to provide destination to hear expert footcare talks throughout the event. These talks were hosted by an expert, and independent podiatrist. She not only covered common conditions but also looked at the significance of footcare for diabetic patients.

Our idea

The stand

Scholl has bold and distinctive brand identity but we also wanted the design to retain a clinical and scientific feel to represent the depth of expertise and knowledge that comes with their footcare heritage. The physical size of the stand also gave us the opportunity to create ‘zones of interest’ to cover the extensive product range and key information about the most common foot conditions that pharmacy will be faced with everyday.

This area was dedicated to showcase Scholl’s product portfolio. According to our client, it attracted a lot of attention!
This area was all about foot-care education. Scholl hosted various talks that always gained full attendance.

Interactivity

To enhance the experience of the healthcare professionals that visited the stand, and to encourage them there in the first place, we created a fully-interactive touchscreen interface. It featured six of the most common foot conditions, how you can identify them and then importantly, which Scholl product you can recommend to help patients find a solution. At 42” it formed a key point of interest on the stand and gave a level of insight and education beyond what can be achieved in flat panels.

Results

RB recorded the largest footfall they’d had to their stand and were delighted by the interest it received from both pharmacists and pharmacy assistants. Plans are already afoot for how we can top it in 2018!
